It is also called wine nevus and is in the category of arteriovenous malformation. It is difficult to completely cure

because blood vessels in deep and superficial dermis are all linked. Being a pulsed dye laser or repeated IPL or joint procedure, it is very helpful for treatment.
There have been cases in which it completely disappeared by jointly using accu sculpt laser and fraxel laser

in the final stage.

 Lip hemangioma

Lip hemangioma or cavernous hemangioma can involre the lips or nose. This, mostly, is categorized as arteriovenous malformation. If the size is large and it transforms the lips.partial incision with CO2 laser, then pulsed dye laser, shows excellent effect.

Telangiectasia, facial flushing

Superficial vein exist in the dermis, but for some reason if the epidermis becomes thin or if the blood vessel gets thick, the skin turn reddish and the superficial veins can be seen. Symptoms like this is called telangiectasia. Telangiectasia can be caused by mainly two reasons. It can be caused by epidernal thinning or dilatation ahickenning of blood vessel.

Facial flushing is the dilatation of the blood vessel in the skin causing it to look red, caused by change in emotion or temperature near the face, ears, neck, or by food, etc. Most common are those whose cheeks particularly turn red in the winter, or those after menopause.

The other common causes of the dilatation of capillary are disorder in the nerves that control the capillary of the face or the disorder of the contraction and relaxation of the vessel. Causes of facial flushing are change in outside temperature, menopause, change in emotion, drugs or alcohol or medical illness like carcinoid syndrome.

Than over usage of steroid or balm, recurrence of skin infection due to acne, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic diathesis cause the epidermis to become thin making the blood vessels visible. It can also occur if exposed to sun light too long or due to genetics.

Treatment for Telangiectasia

IPL, Pulsed dye laser : blood vessel laser that only affects capillary while minimizing side effects has been developed and is effective for telangiectasia. Treatment is proceeded 3-5 times and the treatment interval is about once every one or two months, which can vary depending on the severity, part, individual differences.
Sclerotherapy

Injecting concentrated saline or sclerosing material in the blood vessel to obstruct it or tighten it.
