If the laser beam is fired directly in the eyes, it can cause sight disorder. So the patient should wear a blindfold, and the procedure begins after removing all cosmetics in the area. During the treatment the doctor will shoot laser on skin lesions.

 

  Laser beams are selectively absorbed only in melanin pigments or tattoo ink, blood vessels depending on each wavelength. Topical anesthetic ointment is applied and after 30 minutes to one hour, the laser procedure will be performed without pain. A burning feeling can last 30 minutes to one hour after treatment for which using

an ice pack will be helpful.

 

 

 

Q-switched pigment laser

For the long wavelength of 1064nm, it is used to remove nevus, eyebrow tattoo, eye line tattoo, and all sorts of tattoos which are located deep in the dermis. For the short wavelength of 532nm, it is used to cure freckles, age spots, pigmented skin diseases. For those whose eye brow tattoos are too dark causing them to look a bit fierce, can lighten the pigment so that they may have a more soft impression. Also it is possible to remove the unsatisfactory parts of the eyebrow tattoo to change one’s impression.

Carbon dioxide laser

The carbon dioxide laser has a wavelength of 10,600nm which is absorbed by water, and can accurately destroy skin lesions as deep as desired. It can be used to treat facial wrinkle, chickenpox and smallpox mark, spots, dark spots, epidermal nevi, acne scars, scars after surgery or wound, warts, corns, and other skin tumor.

 

 

 

Fraxel Laser

It is a method of scanning around a fifth of the total area in the form of numerous dots. It is used variously for pores, acne scars, traumatic scars, wrinkles and skin pigment disorders by adjusting the depth of the pixel, spacing and thermal conductivity. The advantage is that 3-4 days after procedure, the scab falls off naturally without interfering with daily life. Pigmentation can occur after procedure, so experienced surgeon and caution is required.

Vascular Laser

Diseases such as telangiectasias, port-wine stain, angioma, Nevus flammeus, red nose and so on can be treated with vascular laser.

IPL (Intense Pulse Light)

It is a multi-wave laser that can cure various diseases such as red acne marks, facial flushing, blemishes, liver spots, freckles, enlarged pores at the same time. It is effective for preventing skin aging and is called Photorejuvenation in the United States. If treated every 3-4 weeks for 3-5 times while the range of wavelength is well adjusted according to each disease, not only will it have considerable effects on pigment diseases such as blemishes, freckles, liver spots on the face and enlarged pores, red acne marks, facial flushing, but it will also contract enlarged pores, reduce wrinkles and make skin elastic, curing problematic skin trouble at the same time, having the effect of making your skin appear several years younger. For pigment disorder, it may feel as if the treated area gets darker, but after about a week this phenomenon disappears and the color lightens.If medical skin care is received together with IPL, pigmentation side effect will be reduced and you will be able to feel that it got much better.
