Acne Scars

Based on the principle that the shape of acne scars are various, TCA peel which is highly effective for producing
 collagen fibers is first locally proceeded. For severe scars, in the second stage,

dermatologic surgical procedures such as  punch elevation, excision, subcision is performed.In the last stage, laser ablation or fraxel is done.Recently, 
 a new 3-stage surgical procedure was developed which enables daily activities. Having been applied over 2000 cases,

 it is now known that skin can almost return back to its original state in two or three procedures.

 

 

 

Specific Procedures

 

1) TCA Peel

 By applying TCA(Trichloroacetic acid) to the Scar area, new collagen can be formed in the atrophic Scar. TCA is
 reported to be mostly collagen-producing among peeling procedures, and the depth of permeation can

be controlled with  the concentration.After procedure, retinoic acid usage will double the effectiveness

and accelerate the wound healing.

 

2) Crystal Peeling and NdYAG Laser Tissue Regeneration

 Induce bleeding strong crystal peeling. This being the target, the laser revitalizes the fibroblast
 inducing the skin to fill up.

 

3) Platelet Rich Plasma Regeneration (PRP)

 Based on the idea that there is a large amount of growth factors in the plasma where platelets are abundant, extracting
 only the plasma that highly contains platelets from one’s blood, and injecting it under the sunk scars, inducing collagen
 reproduction. Speeding up the restoration after fraxel and filler is effective as well.

 

 

4) Scar Excision

 Scars which are parallel to wrinkles or smaller than 2mm are cut or punched, removed and stitched.

 

5) Punch elevation

 Selecting a punch that fits the size of the atrophic scar and punching it,
 Stitching the scar tissue up to the level of skin(punch elevation),
 Or after punch-cutting, punch graft can be made with extracting a similar sized implant from
 the back of the ear. It doesn’t require a donor so it has an advantage of being convenient.

 

6) Subcision

 Peeled from the middle or deep in the derms, skin is fiberized and fills up from the inside. It is very effective if used
 with filler.

 

7) Filler

 If your social life is busy or you have an interview or wedding ahead, using hyaluronic acid filler to fill the scars makes
 the surface plain. There is a tendency that after two years it may sink, but by Stimulating collagen formations permanent effect also exists. Its effectiveness becomes greater if used with peeling.
